Geoffrey Plitt

Geoffrey Plitt was born in Los Angeles. He was acting by the age of four, and writing computer programs at eleven. After graduating from Viewpoint School in Calabasas, he attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he founded the Off The Top improv troupe, joined the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, and graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science.

From 2003-2007, Geoffrey lived in Chicago IL, where he performed with ImprovOlympic, The Annoyance, and Second City. He directed plays, improv shows, and sketch comedy, and he produced musicals and variety shows-- all while performing in improv, musicals and ocassional commercials. Geoffrey was also hired to teach improvisational comedy to high school students through After School Matters, college students at the University of Chicago, and business professionals through The Landmark Forum. While in Chicago, he produced his first film, Sugar (watch it), which is currently playing at film festivals. During all of this, Geoffrey was an entrepreneur by day, authoring innovative websites and software products for various financial clients in Chicago and NYC.

Geoffrey has now returned to LA, where he focuses on standup comedy and producing short films. He is an Engineer at Google, where he creates cutting-edge photo-sharing technology for Picasa Web Albums. In his free time, he enjoys breakdancing, racquetball, weightlifting, piano, and guitar.
