Geoffrey Plitt's films have been featured in the St Lous Filmmakers Showcase (“Best Editing” - SUGAR), Second City’s One More Beer Festival (Chicago), Chicago International Film Festival, Feel Good Festival (Los Angeles), California Next Gen Film Fest (Sacramento), Oregon's BendFilm Festival ("Best Short" - SUGAR), Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival (Alabama), the Austin Film Festival, the Show Off Your Shorts Festival (LA), the LA Comedy Shorts Festival, the LA Comedy Festival, and the Iron Mule Festival (NY).

For the stage, Geoff directed and produced plays and musicals at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and founded/directed the Off The Top improv troupe there. While in Chicago from 2003-2007, he studied and directed at  The Annoyance, and Second City, and produced and directed plays, musicals, improv, and sketch with The Playground and Gorilla Tango; Geoff also developed a unique improv/acting technique, which he taught to high school students through After School Matters, college students at the University of Chicago, and business professionals through The Landmark Forum.

A 9-minute musical film I directed in 2008.  Festivals: LA Comedy Shorts, Iron Mule (NYC), Show Off Your Shorts (LA), and the LA Comedy Festival. Excerpted in "Barack Obama: The People's President" (DVD available on Amazon), featured on CrapTV and the Digital College Network.
